Through her project (and book), Pit Bull Flower Power, photographer and animal advocate Sophie Gamand has photographed more than 450 shelter pit bulls wearing handmade flower crowns. These photographs then get shared on social media, leading to adoptions; some dogs had waited up to 8 years before Sophie’s portraits connected them with an adopter. Sophie came to me in need of a new logo mark to represent her and her work.

Together Sophie and I also worked to create a fresh illustration to be sold on fundraising merchandise; all proceeds go toward funding animal advocacy projects.
